Privacy Policy
This policy describes how TechSquare SA collects, processes and protects your personal data in the context of the freelance portal, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Data collected and purposes

As part of your registration in the TechSquare freelance network, we collect and process the following data:

3. Automated processing and AI matching

Your profile is subject to automated processing by artificial intelligence (profile matching) in accordance with Article 22 of the GDPR. This processing involves analysing your skills, availability and criteria to identify compatible missions from those offered by our clients.

This processing has no binding legal effect: it generates mission suggestions, but no final decision is made solely on the basis of this automated processing.

You have the right to request human review of any matching result that concerns you. To exercise this right, contact privacy@techsquare.be.

4. Recipients of your data

Your data may be shared with the following categories of recipients:

Internal TechSquare consultants — only authorised recruiters and account managers handling applications.

Clients (user companies) — your anonymised profile or, with your explicit consent, your CV is transmitted to Belgian clients in the context of a specific mission.

Technical subcontractors — hosting and infrastructure providers (servers located within the European Union), bound by subcontracting agreements compliant with Art. 28 GDPR.

Your data is never sold to third parties, nor transmitted for external commercial prospecting without your explicit consent.

6. Your GDPR rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access
Obtain a copy of all data held about you.
Right of rectification
Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
Right to erasure
Request the deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Right to portability
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to object
Object to certain processing based on legitimate interest.
Withdrawal of consent
Withdraw your consent at any time, without retroactive effect.

7. Data security

TechSquare implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure, including:

Encryption — secure transmission via HTTPS/TLS and encryption of data at rest.

Access control — data access restricted to authorised staff, based on the principle of least privilege.

Logging — recording of accesses and operations on personal data.

In the event of a data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, TechSquare will notify the DPA within 72 hours and inform you without undue delay.

8. Changes to this policy

TechSquare reserves the right to amend this policy to adapt to legal changes or the evolution of our services. In the event of a material change, you will be notified by email at least 14 days before the new version comes into effect.
